John D. Barrow Art Gallery - www.barrowgallery.org - The John D. Barrow Gallery is located in the Skaneateles Public Library displaying almost 300 paintings created by the former local artist of Skaneateles.  34 State is the former homestead of this famed painter from 1834-1906.  Book your reservation today and you may be fortunate enough to stay in the Barrow Suite.

Moro's Tablewww.morostable.com - Chef Ed Moro is known as one of the best and most talented chefs around, Moro's table is located only a short drive of 10 minutes in the city of Auburn NY.  His eclectic menu ranges from beef short ribs, lamb and duck dishes to steamed mussels, oysters and sushi.  Chef Moro has been one of our favorites since he landed in Skaneateles years ago.  Definitely worth the short drive.  

Mirbeau Inn & Spa - www.mirbeau.com - Award winning Spa with a 14,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility. Additionally, Mirbeau's dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner offering global cuisine inspired by French speaking populations around the world.  Excellent choice for that special occasion or a romantic dinner for two.

 

Anyela's Vineyards - www.anyelasvineyards.com - Anyela's is a local Vineyard just a few minutes out of the Village of Skaneateles down the west side of the lake.

The Annual Antique Boat Show - Every summer during the last weekend in July, Skaneateles is host to the annual Antique Boat Show in the middle of the Village.

Dickens Christmas in the Village - Every Saturday and Sunday from noon-4PM starting the day after Thanksgiving and ending the day before Christmas, Charles Dickens and his cast are out interacting with residents and visitors in the streets of the Village.

Syrcause University - www.syracuse.edu - Located only 25 minutes from SU, 34 State is a great place to stay when traveling to see the Syracuse Orange play a home game or when making college visits.

 

Cornell University - www.cornell.edu - 34 state is only 50 minutes to an hour north of Ithaca, NY where Cornell University is located makes for a short trip to the campus for Big Red games and college visits.
